The woman found the money at the door of a shop and after failing to find the owner went to the police station where he deposited awaiting the police report for theft or loss of that cash from its rightful owners, according to a National Police.
After nine years and four months after it was delivered and deposited the said cash, and after the deadlines stipulated in the Act without any complaints have been filed, officials of the National Police in Linares, have given the total amount to the person who found it. Police claims that this procedure, "although not common, is perfectly reflected in the legislation," and is unknown to most citizens.
